Subaru has just released that they will have several cars on display at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Salon January 13th through the 15th. On display will be a Subaru BRZ STI Concept with a carbon fiber hood, and roof, STI front under spoiler, STI rear trunk spoiler, STI sport muffler, STI flexible tower bar, STI Brembo brakes, STI Bilstein suspension and STI 18 inch aluminum wheels. We do not know if this is the same BRZ STI Concept from the LA Auto Show. We hope it is different.
Also on display will be the new Impreza G4 STI Concept! Featuring a front under spoiler, side under spoiler, rear trunk spoiler, skirt lip shift knob for the CVT, sport muffler, flexible tower bar, low down springs, 18 inch wheels, stainless steel mesh brake hoses, all by Subaru’s in house tuning shop STI. Is this a glimpse of what the next WRX/STI will look like?
Several other cars will be on display as well:
BRZ Black Edition by PROVA (We can not wait to see this!)
Impreza Sport Custom
2012 WRX STI that will participate in the 24 Hour Nurburgring race
Legacy B4 GT300 that participated in the 2011 Super GT series
and technology exhibit featuring the FA20 engine
Subaru will officially announce it’s scheduled participation in the upcoming Super GT series with the BRZ GT300, the 2012 24 Hours Nürburgring endurance race with the Impreza WRX STI Group R4 and the Intercontinental Rally Challenge (IRC).
