“Subaru is giving consumers exactly what they want – no-compromises, safe, and fun to drive vehicles,” said Thomas J. Doll, executive vice president and COO, Subaru of America, Inc. “Our all-wheel drive SUVs and sedans are hitting the sweet spot for buyers. We are also seeing an overwhelmingly positive reception for the newly-introduced BRZ sports car and expect similar sentiment when XV Crosstrek hits the showrooms this month.” I could not have said it better myself! Specifically to the 2013 Subaru BRZ: 271 sold in May, 818 sold in June, 498 sold in July and now 623 sold in August. Sales of the Subaru BRZ YTD are 2210, which is a pretty impressive number for the low availability and the short time period the vehicle has been on sale. The Scion FR-S is also doing well, selling 1,913 units in August 2012. That is 3X the amount of the BRZ! Confirmation that the Subaru BRZ is a relatively rare car at the moment.
