Several magazines have driven and reviewed the U.S. Spec Subaru BRZ for the very first time. Key points found in the articles include, price leaks, different tuned suspension then the FR-S and 86 and more lights on the front of the car. The BRZ is expected to sell at around $25,000 for the base model and $27,000 for the top of the line. Still no word on a STI model launch, but the release is inevitable. The suspension is said to be stiffer in the front, while softer in the rear, then the Toyota and Scion models. Why that is, we don’t really know, but the combination sounds like it will induce more understeer. The U.S. spec differentiates itself from the JDM models with an extra set of lights sitting above the fog lights. Hopefully these are LED’s, but it is difficult to tell from the pictures. Now we patiently wait for the car to go on sale sometime in the spring of 2012.
